Wu Dong Dan Cong “Da Wu Ye” – gentle and flowery tea, offers very light and refreshing tea drinking experience.

Dan Cong oolongs usually have large, strong, powerful leaves. They are well-fermented and charcoal – roasted in the end of production. So they are dark in color, and very intense in taste and aroma. In dependency of fermentation degree and roasting their flavor can vary from sweet fruity smell to more heavy, woody and earthy aromates.

Leaves of this varietal are especially thick, dark and big, it is called “Big Black Leaf” , therefore it requires much stronger roasting and teas of this varietal never have fermentation more than 50%.

Medium Fermentation – 50%, Medium roast. Premium Quality, Spring harvest, grown at 700-900m height.

Wash the tea leaves in the tea pot using the hot water and pour the water out. Fill the pot with the washed leaves with a hot water again, cover, and serve after 30-40 seconds. It is recommended to brew 2-3 teaspoons of tea leaves per cup (200 ml) in a mineral water that has been boiled and cooled down a bit to 90-95°. It is possible and desirable to brew the same leaves at least 2-3 more times.
