Fill a transparent teapot with 3/4 liter of filtered water that has been boiled and cooled to 85° and place the flower in the water. Cover with a lid, strain after the flower opens (about 5 minutes) and serve. The flower can be brewed a second time, with an extra minute added to the brewing time.

—  For more delicate types of tea, like White or Green, glass, porcelain, or thin clay teaware is a good choice, while for Oolongs, Black teas, and Puerhs thicker clay teapots are preferred
