Description

Yunnan Red Sun-dried teacake is made in the foothills of Aylaoshan (Puer district, Nien’er county). Final drying was done in a natural way, under the rays of the sun.

100 g tea cake of medium density, broken effortlessly with fingers. The aroma is deep, fruity-biscuit. The infusion is transparent, dark amber color.

The bouquet of brewed tea is warm and bright, woody-herbal, with biscuit, fruity, and honey notes. The aroma is deep and warm, viscous, and fruity-spicy. The taste is juicy, saturated, sweetish, and a bit tart, with light citrus acidity and spicy nuances, transforming into a lingering finish.

A right choice for everyday tea breaks – bright, juicy, and very fragrant. The effect is warming, soft tonic.

HOW TO BREW PRESSED YUNNAN BLACK TEA

Using the knife accurately separate some tea leaves along the layers. Brew 1-2 tea spoons per 200 ml filtered boiled water. Cover with a lid, strain after 2-3 minutes and serve. You can brew the leaves a second and a third time, adding a minute or two to the brewing time

Pick teaware

—  For more delicate types of tea, like white or green, glass or porcelain teapots are better while for oolongs, black teas and puerhs clay teapots are preferred
