Description

Buckwheat tea (Ku Qiao) is a drink made from roasted wild buckwheat grains, which are collected in the ecologically clean mountainous regions of China.

This sunny and healthy drink will surely appeal to lovers of bakery, honey, nuts and… a healthy lifestyle.

Our version of Ku Qiao is light. Not fully ripened wild buckwheat grains are lightly fried, often simply dried in the open air. When brewed, the result is a light drink of rich yellow color with floral notes. The taste of buckwheat tea is very soft, buttery, nutty, and may resemble oatmeal or nut cookies. Aftertaste – notes of caramel, pastries, biscuit, honey.

The drink is extremely good for health – Ku Qiao contains a lot of group B vitamins and potassium, which are beneficial for the heart and ensure its continuous functioning, and plays an important role in strengthening blood vessels. Buckwheat tea helps cleanse the body of toxins and waste and speed up metabolism – primarily thanks to these two qualities, this drink has recently gained so much popularity.

In addition, the drink made from buckwehat seeds does not contain caffeine, but still has a tonic effect.

Brew with boiled mineral water cooled down to a temperature of 80–85°C, based on 1–2 teaspoons of leaves per 200 ml. Infuse for 3–4 minutes, then strain and pour into cups. We recommend repeated brewing of the tea leaves.
