Description

“LinCang” (“Linj-Tzan”) is the first loose-leaf ripe Pu Er tea in collection of iTea. We have carefully selected it during our trips to Lincang area of Yunnan province. The tea is produced from Yunnan “large leaves” variety, the average age of tea trees is about 40 years.

This tea is of medium fermentation, controlled by the skillful professionals who are in charge of the piling post-fermentation. Since production in 2012, it was properly aged under special conditions.

This puer provides very thick & mellow taste, with long and sweet aftertaste. As it was properly aged in a dry warehouse, the wet and earthy aroma (result of piling during fermentation process) is almost disappeared. Instead, some unique – light and pleasant flavor of dry-stored puer comes out – the hints of nuts, smoked woods and autumn herbs. In the taste of this puer we can also distinguish some dry fruits and spices. Infusion, though rich in color, is clear and transparent.

This puer can be brewed at least 8 times.

HOW TO BREW LINCANG PUERH TEA

Brew 2 tea spoons per 200 ml filtered boiled water. Cover with a lid, strain after 3-4 minutes and serve. You can brew the leaves several times, adding a minute or two to the brewing time

Pick teaware

—  For more delicate types of tea, like white or green, glass or porcelain teapots are better while for oolongs, black teas and puerhs clay teapots are preferred
