The full name of our company is “iTea – Quality Tea”. Product quality is not just an empty phrase for us, since our main goal is to introduce to the Israeli consumers an authentic, tasty, healthy and QUALITY Chinese tea.<\/p>\n
Quality control of tea supplied to Israel is carried out at two stages:<\/p>\n
a) Checking and approval of each batch of tea in China itself, at the warehouse of our supplier. This verification is carried out by our agent in China. In case of the slightest doubt that the quality of the tea meets ITEA requirements, the tea that does not pass the control is returned to the supplier for replacement.<\/p>\n
b) EVERY batch of tea arriving in Israel is also subject to thorough inspection by local ITEA experts. This check may seem unnecessary, because LOW-QUALITY (substandard, non-conforming) tea, in principle, cannot pass the initial check and enter the ITEA warehouse from China. However, such an examination allows us to adjust our supplier\u2019s policy when choosing tea for the next delivery. Thus, we not only constantly monitor the quality of the tea supplied to us, but also try to improve it with each subsequent batch.<\/p>\n
As you know, high-quality tea is a very delicate product; it does not tolerate dampness, heat, bright light, and easily absorbs foreign odors. Therefore, we do everything possible to maintain the original high quality of tea brought to Israel:<\/p>\n
a) We supply all types of tea in special vacuum packaging, which maximally preserves both the taste and healing properties of the tea.<\/p>\n
b) Tea is delivered from China to our warehouse in Israel as soon as possible immediately after placing an order with the supplier. In a warehouse in Israel, tea is also stored in optimal conditions – we carefully control the temperature and humidity of storage.<\/p>\n
So, the company “iTea” offers its customers tea that preserves both taste and healing properties as much as possible. We recommend using purchased tea within 2-3 weeks from opening our packaging to enjoy its wonderful taste and aroma. This recommendation is especially important for white tea, green tea and oolong tea.
